Systems Development Apprentice

Overview

We are looking for a tech enthusiast to work within our IT department to help develop and run our diverse range of technology and bring energy and ideas to the table to help our progressive range of productivity tools used in the company.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Supporting users by installing/fixing applications
• Collaborate with our Systems Developer to design, develop, and test
• Learn and apply programming languages such as .Net C# and Blazor
• Contribute to real-world projects, from idea generation to deployment
• Debug and improve existing codebases to enhance performance and scalability
• Using Power Automate and other cloud-based tools to help reduce paperwork and automate tasks/reports
• Writing MySQL queries to produce reports
• Help maintain the company MIS system by fixing files, database entries and perform updates
• General IT Day to Day Activities will be required such as Active Directory user management and end user PC support

Requirements

GCSE in English (grade C / 4) and Maths (grade C / 4)

Qualifications

You will be given the opportunity to attain a Level 3 Software Development Technician (Equal to A Level).

Working Hours

Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 16:30

Salary

£14,918.80 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age. Pay review after 6 months to reward development
