Mail Solutions are looking for a talented, committed and skilled individual to join our Overprint Department as a Lithographic Envelope Printer.
Lithographic Envelope Printers play a pivotal role in our short run printing solutions. They are responsible for the setup and operation of offset envelope printing presses to produce high quality lithographic printed envelopes in accordance to a customer’s order specification.
Their work involves producing high quality colour print on multi-colour halm presses. Although print requirements can vary from 1-4 colours, Envelope Printers are required to attain high standards on print quality, colour accuracy and consistency, whilst achieving quick turnaround on all orders.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Set and operate two colour envelope printing presses, whilst working to production schedules and targets to ensure timely output
- Check finished products against artwork proofs to maintain quality standards
- Report any machine defects or breakdowns to Line / Shift Supervisor
- Collate accurate production information to assist order planning
- Comply with all aspects of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations
- Perform other duties as required

- Ability to work in a time efficient manner whilst under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent concentration skills
- Ability to follow company procedures, read artwork proofs and relevant information relating to the job
- Ability to work in a small team as well as on an individual basis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The candidate should be able to distinguish colours and have good mathematical skills
Experience
The successful candidate will need to have good mechanical skills and have previous experience of operating Halm litho printing presses.
Working Hours
The working hours for this particular role will be Monday to Friday on a rota basis. Shifts will rotate working 5:45am-2pm and 1:45pm-10pm.
