Print Finisher
Overview
We are looking for a Print Finisher to join our team in Redditch. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of print finishing tasks, ensuring high-quality output that meets customer specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in guillotining, hot foil stamping, perforating, punching, folding, spine taping, stapling, stitching, collating, and sheeting. You will play a key role in the final stages of production, ensuring that all printed materials are accurately finished and prepared for distribution.
The position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work with precision under tight deadlines, and proficiency in operating print finishing machinery. While knowledge of digital and lithographic printing is advantageous, it is not essential.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate guillotine, hot foil stamping, and other print finishing machinery
- Perform print finishing tasks such as perforating, punching, folding, spine taping, stapling, stitching, collating, and sheeting
- Ensure high-quality finishing on all printed materials, meeting company standards
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of print finishing equipment
- Monitor quality control throughout the finishing process, identifying and resolving any issues
- Follow health and safety guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials
- Collaborate with the printing and production team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records of job orders and machine maintenance
Requirements
- Previous experience in print finishing, including guillotining and hot foil stamping
- Proficiency in operating various print finishing machinery
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Flexibility to work a rolling shift pattern (AM and PM shifts)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of digital and lithographic printing (preferred but not essential)

Electrical Engineer
Overview
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join our team in Corby. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and commissioning electrical installations, diagnosing and correcting electrical faults, and performing planned preventative maintenance. In addition to electrical responsibilities, the role also involves basic mechanical work, including machining, welding, plumbing, and toolmaking. The engineer will be expected to maintain day-to-day operations of the factory and office premises, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure Health and Safety practices are followed at all times.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, and commission electrical installations
- Diagnose and correct electrical faults
- Perform planned preventative maintenance following ISO accreditations
- Conduct day-to-day maintenance of factory and office premises
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to efficiently resolve issues
- Undertake basic mechanical work, including machining, welding, plumbing, and toolmaking
- Raise purchase orders on the MIS system and report cost-saving targets
- Operate and maintain Health and Safety working practices
- Ensure compliance with DPS checks
Requirements
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
- 18th Edition Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2022
- Basic understanding of the printing industry, printing presses, and print finishing equipment (preferable but not essential)
- Basic computer skills - Outlook/Microsoft Office
- Driving license required as travel between Corby, Redditch and Telford may be required
- Flexibility for weekend working and out-of-hours callouts

- Produce envelope products as per supplied works instructions and drawings ensuring conformance to design specifications
- Perform regular product inspections to check quality standards are achieved in line with ISO 9001 requirements
- Provide accurate and timely production information to assist order with quality control and operational efficiency
- Communicate any machine malfunctions, breakdowns or problems to Shift Supervisors
- Maintain, repair and perform essential maintenance on envelope machines
- Comply with all aspects of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations
- Carry out additional duties from time to time as may be reasonably required
